Developmental Coordination Disorder, often called Dyspraxia, is primarily addressed through motor-only-based interventions. This unique full-day course will help therapists and educators understand the significant co-existence of executive functioning deficits, the implications for challenges in core academic skills, and the potentially significant impact on social/emotional learning. Taking a wide-ranging, holistic approach to this disorder, participants will gain a greater understanding of how to address motor planning skills and the skills needed for well-rounded school success.
Chalked full of immediately useful resources, tips, and tools, therapists will begin applying new insights the very next day! Highly practical and loaded with insight and inspiration for helping your students reach their full potential.
