Dr. Zehr is an international trainer to schools and organizations in the cognitive skills method, the Feuerstein Program. She also offers unique personalized coaching to corporate executives who wish to improve or restore cognition to continue important contributions to their professional field of expertise.
Jeanne Zehr served public schools for 35 years in the classroom and in leadership roles. She completed her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration at Indiana University. Her doctorate was earned at Indiana State University with her research on “Changing Belief Systems of Teachers” honored as Dissertation of the Year. As the Founder and Director of The MINDCAP Center in Fort Wayne, she directs the provision of both training and clinical services using the Feuerstein Program to both children and adults with a myriad of cognitive challenges and diagnoses. As an international senior trainer for the Feuerstein Institute in Israel, Zehr has trained in the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Canada, Denmark, Australia, South Korea, South Africa, France, and Italy. Dr. Zehr has a keen interest in the brain which translates into empowering others through dynamic hands-on presentations.
