A child’s intensity is not a problem to suppress—it’s a profound strength that needs to be understood, channeled, and nurtured. Yet many parents, teachers, and therapists find themselves overwhelmed by the intensity of a challenging child. When faced with explosive anger, aggression, defiance, or chronic disrespect, adults often respond by doubling down on traditional behavior-management strategies. Unfortunately, these typical approaches can unintentionally escalate the very behaviors they’re meant to reduce. Despite the best of intentions, the more adults apply conventional parenting, teaching, or counseling methods with an intense child, the more entrenched the negative cycles can become. Many of these children are quickly labeled with ADHD or other behavioral disorders and placed on medication simply because adults feel out of options. Meanwhile, the child’s extraordinary intensity remains untapped and misunderstood.
This workshop offers a powerful alternative. Participants will learn a highly effective framework that transforms intensity from a source of disruption into a source of success. You will gain immediately usable strategies to help children regulate, connect, and thrive—without power struggles and without escalating consequences. Join us to learn how to ignite children’s greatness.
