Jed Baker, Ph.D. is the director of the Social Skills Training Project, an organization serving individuals with autism and social communication problems. He writes, lectures, and provides training internationally on the topic of social skills training and managing challenging behaviors and is an award-winning author of 8 books.
Dr. Baker completed his doctorate in clinical psychology at SUNY-Albany, where he received a Presidential Fellowship. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Jed Baker has given over 300 workshops worldwide and his courses can be taken on Theramoves. His focus is on social skills and behavioral management. He is also the director of the Social Skills Training Project, where he provides individual/family counseling, social skills training, school consultations, prevention plan training, and more. Furthermore, Dr. Baker is on numerous professional advisory boards, which include Autism Today, ASPEN, ANSWER, the Kerberman Center, YAI, as well as various other autism organizations. His work has been featured on ABC World News, Nightline, the CBS Early Show, and the Discovery Health Channel.
