Three primitive reflexes that influence active motor control are ATNR, palmar and plantar reflexes. These may remain active in children with sensory processing disorders, autism, and neurological challenges. The lower central nervous centers are active with cortical insult. This course will assist you in identifying the reflexes, easy to understand integration techniques, and smooth conversion to home programs.
Nervous system damage or challenges require neuroplasticity tools for effective treatment. Understanding ATNR, palmar grasp, and plantar grasp primitive reflexes and how they live in the lower brain centers give us control in the integration process.
This 6-hour lecture will give you a new perspective on how to enter the midbrain and brainstem with sensory information to assist in rewiring around impairments for improved motor and learning outcomes.
